South City Calendar Project
The SOUTH CITY Calendar Project was born out of the desire to build community in South City. And it is working! We are having so much fun promoting local businesses and getting to know more about the businesses on Grand Ave. and the surrounding area. Check out some of the posts below for videos with and about the businesses featured in the calendar every month.
We love South City and are so honored to be a part of this wonderful community. Check out our South City photo gallery post all about why we love it here so much. Out of this project, other projects have blossomed, such as Women on the Rise, which is a monthly networking group that meets at Antigua Coffee Shop on Grand Ave. for creative, interactive activities with the goal and intention of supporting other like-minded women. We hope to see you around South City real soon!

Lemon-Spice (Holiday) Visiting Cake
We discovered this recipe at the NY Times COOKING website and played around with making a “Holiday” version… and it worked! The only adjustment to the original recipe was that we added fresh cranberries sprinkled on top before baking. The recipe is absolutely amazing as is, so feel free to try making it either way.
Gratitude
Thank you to all who made it out of the house last night for our Gratitude Event. With the air quality at an all-time low and a hazy sky looming overhead, we appreciate the effort we know it took to face the outdoors and travel across town to our gathering. We had such a wonderful time with everyone. Many people were able to get some of their holiday shopping out of the way early while socializing and having fun. The evening began at HUNT & GATHER in the Inner Sunset.

This month in our South City Calendar, we feature Cafe 382 on Grand Ave. Cafe 382 is a family-friendly fast-casual restaurant serving locally sourced American comfort food. Owned and operated by two brothers who grew up in their family’s SF restaurant business, running a restaurant is in their blood. Cafe 382 brings a fresh approach to fast-casual dining in South City.
