This month in our South City Calendar, we feature Antigua Coffee Shop on Grand Avenue. Antigua is known around town for its great coffee and really delicious breakfast. But not everybody knows about their amazing HAPPY HOUR. It’s like a local’s secret, we feel like we shouldn’t be sharing but we just can’t help ourselves. We recently stopped in the see what it was all about and we were blown away. Not only are the prices right out of the 90’s but the food is GOOOOOD! They offer tapas such as Veggie Empanadas, Quesadillas, Flautitas, Truffle Fries, Homemade Chips, Sliders, and more. For drinks they have a vast array of beer on tap and a variety of wine, but what makes their Happy Hour special is their house specialties such as both white and red Sangria, Bellinis (made with mango, passion fruit or peach), Mimosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice, Micheladas, and the list goes on.
